The Final Five: an epic Colorado 14er Finisher Week

Entering the 2024 climbing season, Maya and I had just 8 of the 58 Colorado Fourteeners left to climb and decided to try to finish them all before the snow returned. We completed Culebra Peak and Longs Peak in July, leaving just 6, all in the Elks except for Little Bear.

Vestal Basin Trip Report

Over the Labor Day weekend, Maya and I headed down to the Vestal Basin in the Grenadier Range to climb Vestal Peak, Arrow Peak and Trinity Peaks.
